About
In a world where everything is solved through nepotism, the concept of personal connections—often referred to in our local culture as “day-day”—is presented in this ad as a product. A satirical jab at how real problems are often solved not with systems — but with “connections.”
“Day-day” means “uncle,” but in Azerbaijani slang, it’s code for someone powerful who gets things done behind the scenes. In a society where influence often beats merit, Day-day is both a joke and a truth. Our aim is to show that these topics are not untouchable and to highlight just how disturbing this reality truly is.
Brief:
Creating a series of short films that take a satirical approach to social issues in Azerbaijani society. These films aim to spark both laughter and reflection, offering a fresh perspective on existing problems. The goal is to encourage awareness and inspire change without judgment
Challange:
We want to show people that it doesn't take massive power to create change – just awareness and courage. Through satire, we can deliver messages that are both entertaining and impactful.
Audience:
The general population of Azerbaijan, with a focus on young people and active social media users.
